Welcome back again. Just a little update on myself :

Just received my unconditional offer letter from Imperial, together with my CAS number for my visa application.

Finally i've settled with my borang nikah application. What a hassle! Unfortunately there are no any pak imam/jurunikah at Masjid Klang Gate which i'm supposed to nikah there. The previous pak imam has retired and it scheduled a bit early than it supposed to be due to health problem. As an alternative, i have to choose another neighbourhood mosque, which is Masjid Hidayah. InsyaAllah my solemnization ceremony will be there ~

Wedding preparations???? hmmm... i can say 70% settled.

As of my carrier matters, I have just been appointed as a lecturer last september. So far so good, students are so enthusiastic! hahaha....

hmmm dat's all about myself. Will blog again later when i have time.

I AM ENGAGED. on the 5th of Syawal

....to one of the most wonderful man in my life ~ Ahmad Tawfiq. It was a very last minute planned by my family. Alhamdulillah the small ceremony proceed smoothly. May all goes well till the day we tie the knot :D InsyaAllah. Pictures will come later ... till keyboard meets my fingers again.

It has been a while since i left my blogsphere ~ There's no reason behind it. It's just that I don't have any ideas about what to write about. Hmmm... ok today is 26th of Ramadhan and we left about few more days to go before Eid Celebration. Hari Raya.... i'm loving it!! But before that, have you equipped yourself with all the amal ibadah in this blessing month of Allah S.W.T? And, seek forgiveness to improve your relationship with Allah Azzawajalla..

Alright ~I just don't know where to start and how to start it. Ok, let's recapped about my previous post where i did mention about my IELTS exam. Reason why I need to take this exam because I received a loan from MARA to pursue my PhD in UK. After all the stages I have gone through, Alhamdulillah I managed to get it. Allah mercy, i believe in all the rezeki. Part of the requirement is to get a placing in one of the the top ranking universities in the world. The moment i received the letter from MARA, I immediately hunting for my potential supervisors. My first choice was Sheffield University, followed by Bristol University. Never would I imagine to try for Imperial College London. For me, it's impossible, but afraid aside, I just give it a try :). Alhamdulillah, the potential supervisor from Imperial was the first one who has positively responded to my email. The best part was he happens to be my lecturer's supervisor during her PhD. What a small world ~

After done with all the applications and etc, my potential joint supervisors conducted an interview via phone to get to know me. The interview went off smoothly though I was trapped with their killer questions :'( . Frankly speaking, getting a placing is not an easy business from supervisor hunting, get your referees to support you application, proposal preparation, these and that owh i can still feel the hassle. But it's ok, this is my challenge to endure before facing another 'big' challenges ahead. For now, i just need to wait for the official offer letter by Imperial to proceed any further.

I wrote this because i don't want to erase the memories. I want these memories to remain fresh in my mind whenever I bump to this post. There's no any other intentions except for the benefits of myself in the future. :)

: : Long HIATUS : :

Assalamualaikum,

Sorry readers for a long hiatus. Reason being, indescribeable. Too many ups and downs beyond the journey of my life.

Alhamdulillah i have successfully completed my MSc; Masters in Structural Engineering & Constructions. No words can express this happiness and I'm so thankful and praise to Allah S.W.T for giving me the strength and determination in order to achieve my masters. What people see is totally different from what i experienced it myself. Yups everybody has a unique experience throughout their journey to success. Mom has always been my number one supporter though not technically, but emotionally. Meanwhile, abah has tought me a lot to be an independent and competitive person. All his words were too painful to swallow whenever i whined facing the hardships. Tawfiq on the other hand, has helped me a lot especially during the beginning of my masters program in which i don't have any transport to commute from UPM-UNITEN. Besides, during my project work at Malaysian Rubber Board, as well as during my thesis write up, he has always been by my side, continuously support and yelling at me when necessary :P. Tears almost falling down when i wrote this. I can't imagine how it would turn out to be without all the special persons in my life. Alhamdulillah ~

Friends called me geek, truly nerd, school freak, psycho and etc.. but deep inside their hearts, they know me very well, and indirectly gave me all the full supports whenever i'm so down and need them to cheer me up. *muacks* i love u girls!!

On another note, too many things happened the moment I completed my MSc. Will blog about it, insyaAllah. Just to update on my latest activity; I'm currently working hard for my IELTS exam which will be somewhere around July. Please pray for me ~
